Will an art therapist psychoanalyze my art?

Well, not exactly (we aren’t mind readers!). An art therapist can help you to conciously and thoughtfully observe your artwork from several different perspectives. They may ask you questions about your art making process and experience that can help reveal deeper meanings in the art work.

Who is it for?

Anyone and everyone! You don’t have to be an “artist” for art therapy to be helpful for you. Art therapy can help to express thoughts that are difficult to verbalize. It can also help locate areas of discomfort, stress, and confusion.
